This post will be different from the usual.
It won’t have reports about our foundation’s activities, our volunteer movement, or the photos of military personnel, AFU vehicles, humanitarian aid, and other things you’re accustomed to seeing. Instead, it will be about life, about society, about our great war, and about how I see my future work towards Victory, preserving the lives of our Defenders, and rebuilding a peaceful Ukraine afterwards.

You’ve all known me for a long time—who I am and what I do. In peacetime, I was an entrepreneur for all 27 years of my working life, having created and built a great deal. I grew up here and have lived here for 45 years. Now, I am a volunteer and the head of the volunteer movement of the “Osonnia Ukrainy” Charitable Foundation, having put all my resources and capabilities into this endeavor. I’ve invested a substantial amount of personal funds into volunteering and received a lot of donations from all of you: friends, local businesses, and caring citizens. This support allowed us to meet the enormous needs of our military, of internally displaced persons (IDPs), and of people in extremely difficult social situations. I thank you all! We are not stopping our work!

But time passes, the war continues, the situation at the front worsens, and resources do not increase. On the contrary, fundraising has stalled, while the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) grow at a geometric rate. Many service members across the entire front line know us, and every day we receive huge, costly requests from them. Although sometimes a single individual can be a warrior in the field, a collective always achieves far more than any single person or organization. The larger the collective, the greater our ability to assist the AFU and our citizens.

Together with Mayor Andrii Bielousov, the city authorities, the Kamyanske Development Fund, and the city’s volunteer hub, we have already carried out many joint projects. I want to create even more powerful, more ambitious projects. This is my dream, my goal.

To achieve this dream, we must grow and increase our capabilities. Therefore, I have decided to join Andrii Leonidovych Bielousov’s team and become a member of the “Bdzhola” (Bee) political party, which is consistently and systematically helping our military and is doing everything possible for the development of our city. Together, we can do much more than separately!

This is my personal decision, my conscious choice during these most difficult times for every Ukrainian.

Glory to the AFU! Glory to Ukraine!
