Since February 2022, the "Palyanytsia" Relief and Logistics Center has been operating in Kamianske. It is engaged in helping displaced people. When the Center's activities expanded significantly, the team founded the "Sunny Ukraine" Charitable Foundation and extended the areas of assistance.
In addition to helping displaced persons, which remained the focus of Palyanytsia, "Sunny Ukraine" focused on helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Every day, dozens of Foundation volunteers, who sometimes do not even know each other, collect the necessary equipment and send it to the frontline.
The defenders receive the essentials from the volunteers: thermal imagers, night vision devices, tactical goggles, shovels, power banks, various gadgets such as tablets and phones, as well as clothes and sleeping bags.
Food is also sent to the front, which helps the soldiers maintain their form and morale. Thanks to the humanitarian aid sent to us worldwide, the fighters receive simple but nutritious products: canned goods, cookies, candies, and instant drinks. Every month we make up to 40 such shipments for the military.
Also, "Sunny Ukraine" volunteers took on the task of finding cars for the Armed Forces. They collect money, find affordable cars in Germany, bring them to Ukraine, repair them (three maintenance stations are already involved), and hand them over to the front at the request of specific units or soldiers.
During the months of the war, we have already handed over 35 cars to the front. They work for our victory, saving lives daily and performing important logistical tasks. We carefully monitor the operation of each of the transferred cars, keep in touch with the defenders and repair the vehicles if necessary.
We regularly add new directions to our activities. For more than a month, we have been printing periscopes and some parts needed at the front on 3D printers. This is not a single, but a mass production: two batches have already been transferred and are actively being used.
Finally, we provide the front and hospitals in Kamianske (8th hospital) and Dnipro (4th hospital) with medical supplies. We also constantly cooperate with hospitals where the wounded are treated.
In general, hundreds of people are involved in the work of the Foundation. These are not only volunteers distributing humanitarian aid but also specialists. Among them are service station masters who repair cars, painters who paint them, builders, and IT specialists who look for equipment and provide printing on 3D printers of the necessary parts.
A constant flow of funds is needed for a charity fund to work effectively. To do this, volunteers establish partnerships with Ukrainian diasporas worldwide, whose representatives have the ability and desire to help their homeland.
We are sure that only cooperation will help us achieve the main goal of victory in this cruel and unjust war.
